    という状態ではなく、自らがやりたいと心底思っている状態のことを指す。
    この状態が高まるとフローという状態になり、時間を忘れて没頭するなど、最も成果が上がりやすい状況となる。

    伝統的には外発的な動機付けが企業経営にとって必要なことだと思われていたが、
    実際には生産性や想像力を低下させることになってしまった。要は人の視野が狭まるのである。

    まず必要なことは、仕事の時間を使って、色々なものに触れてみることである。
    そこにさまざまな気づきがあり、結果として仕事に返ってくるのである。

  17. Great TED Talk. I think this is very much in line with Herzberg's Theory. Carrots and sticks lead to manipulation, not motivation. There is only one way to increase motivation, by using internal motivators.

    BTW, it is known that each person has his own motivation. Some of them money, some of them acknowledgement, some of them good health and so on. What an unprofessional speech. Only in America.
